Matrix Resurrections

Post by Pinback »

Well could be another pointless sequel or we may have seen all the best bits in the trailer, not sure about this one as the Matrix is one of those films that did not need any sequels.

You may be right.... but soon as i saw this post I stopped whatever I was doing and watched the trailer ;) Big matrix fan here, as long as they setup the story properly it could fly.... as you see Neo is older and he is taking blue pills :) They will need to explain the whole dying in the matrix kills you in real life. So lets see how they do it.

Oh yeah I will definitely buy it when it hits blu-ray just to complete the collection.... but I doubt they will make another from the bad press its getting.... but who knows I doubt they have released box office numbers yet, so maybe if it was profitable maybe we will see a closure to the story.... even though we had closure in the 3rd movie hehe

Seems to be a bit of trend with Hollywood making sequels to old films with the original actors, maybe they have given up on the reboots.

I will buy the movie eventually to just complete the collection, but I haven't seen it and will probably wait to see it when I buy it on Blu-ray in a year or two.

Well that was a waste of time watching, took ages to get going then just recycled some the old action scenes from the previous films.

Ugh you serious, so its as bad as people say it is? Why would they do this to a much loved franchise. Maybe they will have some sort of collectors edition that adds time to the movie to fill in plot holes. Shame this feedback is true.

@sscadmin I am afraid it is D1. I watched it a few months back and the best bits were when they showed the previous movies. A rushed cash grab when this could have been something special if it had been created with as much care as the older movies. My advice? Stick to the trilogy, just like with the Indiana Jones movies but.......there is a new Indi movie in the works, parts of it were shot in Glasgow, Scotland. Hoping it's this and not another Kingdom Of The Crystal Meth.

Much as I like Harrison Ford in the role he is just getting too old for another Indy movie.

He was better in that role than as Han Solo!

Agree 100%, Harrison definitely could have but more energy into that part and it was why I wanted to see it and his role and how they treated the character was probably the worst of the SW movies to date imo.

I suppose Lucas was to blame, his screenplay/script writing was dire!

As Harrison Ford famously told him, “George, you can type this shit, but you sure can’t say it.”

Indi will always be my favorite character Harrison ever did. However there was another that came very close!
