Nichelle Nichols sadly past away yesterday, best known to sci-fi fans for playing Lt Uhura in the original Star Trek.

Sad to hear that my friend. Growing up, that show was a staple of sci-fi for me...

Yes I saw this the other day :( I didn't know she was in her 90's
