Still think that not having any ground or air vehicles in the game is big mistake and given that he cites both Sundog and Traveller as inspirations, it seems a bit strange that the game will not have any.

I believe that there is some new information about the game from Todd boy himself, but it's contained in a three-hour chat he had with some youtuber.
Probably just generalisation as they have not given much away so far.

Another very short video, question on and answers format on the games quests, given that it's only five minutes long it sounds pretty standard stuff.

Apparently the date has been changed on Steam from 2023 to a vague "coming soon".

I am okay with them taking their time as long as they don't do another Fallout76 ;) From some of the info I have heard about the game and what you can do in it its going to be something great as long as they deliver on their promises. So take all the time they need to get it right and it will be a huge hit for them.

Think they might be waiting for Christmas, so forth quarter if we are going to see the game this year.

Thats what I would do if I were them, take this year to fix bugs/missions, play test the thing, and of course get the game mechanics and controls right. Because this is going to be a PC/Console release if I remember correctly so optimization will be a big key too. Bethesda needs a good release here to get some of their cred back :)

We might find out a bit sooner Starfield release date announced “very soon” says Bethesda | PCGamesN although I still think Q4.

I thought that both were coming out at the same time as well as on gamepass.

Beat me too it haha.... I think this is a good choice, because they get another 5mos to play test and hopefully fix bugs :) I might pick this up during the Xmas sale if the reviews are treating Starfield nice :) Looking forward to June when they release more video/hype for the game.

Just watched this whole thing and I have to admit they put together a nice extended trailer. IF (and thats a big IF) they deliver what I saw here in this game, Bethesda will have a cash cow for a long time.... cause we all know that the majority of these planets will be barren so expansions or DLC can be slowly making better storylines and creating new things to see on the 1000 planets. It will be interesting to see how populated these planets are.... the combat seems solid both space and ground based.
Looking forward to getting this, will probably wait until Dec though so it can go through 2-3mos of patches first.

Same here I'm sold and likewise will probably pick it up at Christmas, although I'm not keen on paying £60/£70 for a digital game but it may get the better of me.
This is what ED should have been and the only downside is a lack of ground vehicles.
Like the ship customisation and pretty sure we will see every ship from film, tv, book and games as a mod within months of the games launch.

If Bethesda embraces modders like they have done for all their games I would suspect that Starfield is going to blow up with visuals, ships, creatures... they have created a monster of a game.... and if that in-game experience we saw in the trailer is indeed legit this game will easily be Game of the Year in my opinion.

Just seen the collector edition of the game £250 for a bit of plastic and a cheap watch and not even sure if you get the game included with that.

Wait for the reviews folks!

And the bug fixes and updates which will hit in the first few weeks.
As I believe this will be on game pass on first day of release that might be the best way to play it as long you can download 100GB or more.
