Nice trailer for sure.
I can't help but feeling sorry for the current KSP "1" dev team though. In their shoes I would check my resume and rush to the nearest escape pod I'm afraid :(

"Kerbal Space Program 2, the sequel to the beloved original space sim, is now planned for launch on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, in fiscal 2021, in order to allow more time to make the experience as terrific as possible," Take-Two president Karl Slatoff said during an investors call. This is always for the best in my opinion, don't release a game until you know its complete and people or reviewers can't rip your game apart. Bad press these days kills a game quickly.

Posted by: @sscadmin This is always for the best in my opinion+1, especially with the hype they've created, and also knowing they will be competing with KSP1 upon release.

Looks like this is being delayed...

Announced that Kerbal Space Program 2 is being moved to Fall 2021 and will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC due to delays from COVID-19, in order to provide the development team with the time they need to create the best Kerbal Space Program experience possible.

Kerbal Space Program 2 will be releasing in Early Access on February 24th, 2023, for an introductory price of $49.99 . The game will be available on PC only during Early Access, on the KSP website, Steam and Epic Games Store. Check out the in-depth Feature Video on the announcement here:
Kerbal Space Program 2 has been fully redesigned from the ground up to meet the demands of modern and next-generation space exploration, all while maintaining the monumental foundations of the first game. New features will periodically be added through Early Access that will captivate veteran and returning players, as well as usher in a whole new wave of Kerbonauts to the ingenious and comedic world that has entertained millions.

Bad situation that given that Take Two are not a small developer.
