$100 for GTA6

Have you seen the reports that the new GTA game may cost $100 when it comes out later this year of course it may not but the new Mario game looks like it will be about $80, so who knows.
I'm not willing to pay the current price of about 60 or 70 for a new game, so theirs no way I'm going to be paying more for a game, also remember when they said digital games would be cheaper than a physical game.

I doubt the 'base' game will cost that much, but if the dumb players out there purchase the game for $100 then other game publishers will see that and they will also push their games higher too... me I stopped buying new games a while back, I haven't paid $50-60 for a game in many years. They just aren't worth the price any more.... so I wait 1-2yrs after they been patched and pick them up for 50-70% off on a steam sale. GTA hasn't had a new game in what like 6+ yrs now... so I could see some people paying for this to get the new one. But I will not be one of those

You can see why they been working on this game a while the visuals are next level and the immersion look great



Still wouldn't pay $100 for any game... but May 2026 I believe is only console release with PC being later.
