Post by Pinback »

No sure if this is the right section for these?.they are two indie space sim game engines which are being worked onhttp://yass-engine.de/index.php Yass seems to be the more advanced one as its demo lets you run around the plant and fly in space.http://geist3d.org/ I not tried the new update but the old one run very slow on xp.

I like that geist3d engine it has some promise. I moved the thread to mod/code section cause I think it fits better here.I think this engine is one of the best open source ones http://www.ogre3d.org/

I did some looking on that game in the works 'Salvation Prophecy' and it is looking pretty good. Here is some basic info on the game and people can go and check it out and give him some motivation to hopefully finish this project and the orge3d engine looks nice.Website: http://www.salvationprophecy.com/index.phpAnd the only video I could find and it shows off a lot of gameplay.

I contacted Jabberwocky the main developer and he said he would field some questions and here is the post I created here so ask your questions and I will get them added and I will add my own. He also joined the site so you might see your answers fairly quickly.http://www.spacesimcentral.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=158
