Shattered Horizon
RE: Shattered Horizon
From what I've read, it seems doing this is comparable to taking IE6 and replacing large pieces of it with Firefox 3.6...I'll just pick it up from a digital bargain bin when XP is on the level 95 is now.

RE: Shattered Horizon
I got this on Steam a day or so ago for £6.99. Only playing single player against bots at the moment as I don't know anyone else who has it.I got the game for research reasons more than anything else as I have an idea to build something along the same lines - but based on the moon (low gravity) rather than in space (zero gravity). Anyway, played a few games, and it is an interesting concept - basically putting CoD in space, it works as a game, but I think it needs more... though not sure exactly what... One aspect I think is really great is the true 3D nature of the game maps - it literally does add an extra dimension to the usual FPS experience.
RE: Shattered Horizon
I picked this game up in a indie bundle type purchase a few months ago and just haven't loaded it up yet. Usually time gets in my way but gameplay looks to be fun.
RE: Shattered Horizon
I played this game a lot back in the days. I enjoyed it a lot, but the eventually low player count made the game less and less fun. It shined on 10v10 or more.
RE: Shattered Horizon
I think the only solo type play is with bots? It's a shame they never created a solo campaign.
RE: Shattered Horizon
They wanted to do some more expansions, but the sales were quite mediocre. Many people complained about there being just one single weapon. I rather considered it one of the good points of this game. It was a very realistic, multifunctional weapon. Some more video: Low resolution due to crappy pc for recording i had during the time for this game
It was before my intel i5 2500K build.
