Found this website recently, and I'm hopeful about it. I enjoy the space sim style of games (being an Engineer, I have an excuse to geek out), but I can't seem to find good ones. I tried EVE online, and I wasn't too fond of it. However, I enjoyed the Descent series (the original and the Freespace games that somehow took the name). I've also spent some time with Sins of a Solar Empire, but that game gets boring play a computer, and the games are too long to play online.Anyway, just saying hello.

Hey TheDFOWelcome to SSC, doing my best on getting the site out there to all the fans. Since you mentioned the Descent games you might be interested in this link http://www.descent2.de/There is a bunch of games under development or coming out real soon that you might want to checkout in the forums here. So take a few minutes to do some browsing and see what you find. There is a lot of space game knowledgeable people here so ask away. And if you find something that hasn't been mentioned please do post it so everyone can check it out.-D1-
