Your average day to day stuff and work related things.Which is why I felt I needed a change so I kinda quit on most things pc-related and I got myself a bike, Honda Fireblade 919 from '98 and I've been riding it like there was no tomorrow. I traveled the country with it as much as my wallet allowed me, had a couple really-close-call experiences at 200+ km/h ... and that's about it. Now, winter is here so no more bike trips for me.Time to do some models again I guess.

Your braver than I Solcommand, over 200kph on a bike is a rush plus a tad on the crazy side <img src="'http://spacesimcentral.com/forum/public/style_emoticons//crazy.gif class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Nice looking bike and you never know you could always make a futuristic concept bike of your dreams ?

Hey hi there,@SolCommand, I think I already mentioned it somewhere in this forum: Congratulations for the great modelling job. Although at MPL3D we look for somewhat scientific look for the spaceships that we enroll, many of your models have chances to go into our program, MPL3D Solar System. Well, in fact it is not needed that we incorporate them with the distribution, as any user can configure and pilot a custom spaceship into the simulation. I hope you find that interesting. It allows preview videos to not to have a black background. Please have a look of the last model incorporated, spaceship credits go to Kenny Mitchell:http://www.facebook....495414993826657 keep you informed if we pack any of your models. Many thanks for sharing your brilliant job. That helps a lot to low budget projects like ours.

Hehe, yeah I've been thinking about it and will do it sometime and most likely it will be a hoverbike.MPL3D, I've seen your project before and I think it looks fantastic. I sure hope the project gets the recognition it deserves.

Right now I wish I didn't upgrade to Windows 8 Looks like many programs have problems with it, although they do work, they don't do it properly (yet). For example it takes me a minute to make a render that previously took me 10 seconds. Not to mention the all-present CTD.This sucks

I have been hearing Win8 isn't a gaming platform and its a shame really, looks like Win7 will stay on the system for many years to come. I'm sure just like with ever other Windows release is that the Memory consumption keeps going up so that might be an issue as well. Can't wait to see that hoverbike.

Here's my latest WIP of a carrier / mothership. I reckon the model is about 80% completed now so it will be finished quite soon. After that, comes the texture, which will be ... really basic, cause we all know textures are my achilles' heel :)So far the model has 31k polys and the finished ship will probably have a count of around 40k.

** made a change to the metal texture on the guns cause it looked way too cartoonish, now it's slightly better :)

Ok, just finished 3 more variations for the gun. I designed this with the intention that it could be used ingame as upgrades, for example: gun MK1 / MK2 / MK3 etc. http://www.solcommand.com/2012/12/bulletstorm-3-new-variations.html If you need these models in your project, download them at will and enjoy them :)

Hey Sol ! I like your vessel: it smells of funky functionality. My mind paints the model with all sorts of systems when I look at it: sensors, passive and active defense systems, projectors, lasers and radiators. I particularly like the radiators (?) covers. To my humble opinion, the weak spot on the design are the shape and small bulk of the propulsors, top and bottom (I like the central ones). Or are these system pods ? P.

Hey Pavlos. If you're referring to those 4 shapes at the tail of the ship, besides the fact that they also house 4 small engines they're main purpose is to collect gas for fuel when flying through the atmosphere of gas giants, which explains their size/shape and placement, in my imaginary universe :) . Ok, so here's a wip preview of my next project. I needed to take a small break from the pirate mothership so I decided I'd make a small ship.

A quick model i made today of an acceleration gate. I've been wanting to make a new such gate model ever since I made the first one, cause I kinda hated that one :) http://www.solcommand.com/2013/01/paratka-accelerator.html

Hey guys Just finished a model I made for fun based on that walking "thing" from star wars and I could use some suggestions as to what tags / key words to use for it because I'm not that familiar with the star wars series.

Some more work done on my previously posted WIP. I'm turning this one into a set/collection of ships with various purposes (combat/mining/etc.)
