JRE and BP which one will you choose?
Hey EveryoneWith the space MMO market starting to heat up there are two great games coming out which are Jumpgate Evolution and Black Prophecy. They are both very similar to each other but do have some differences as well. Which of these two games will you play and why?Jumpgate Evolution will more than likely be the first of these two games to be released (Est. in June). Beta hasn't started yet and not really a lot of screenshots or movies that touch upon the crafting and equipment portion of the game. They have shown a good amount of the scale of the ships, battles and some instancing. JGE universe looks a bit different than BP in the fact that it is more 'alienish' i guess you could call it.Black Prophecy is shaping up to be a nice space MMO. With the latest two new videos that have shown up on youtube you will see some great action and views of different things you can do in the game (ie: chat, equipement, missions, etc..). BP has should a bit more of their product than JGE. And currently there is no set release date but i believe it is planned for FY09 so coming soon. Beta hasn't begun yet with BP as well. I do have to admit I really like the graphics in BP.I will probably play both of them especially since JGE is coming out first. And with the success of EVE Online this will probably be a fun time to be a space sim gamer. Because there is still even more projects coming. Can you compare these two games to EVE. In my opinion not really because they differ greatly when it comes to combat and gameplay pace. Graphically they all have there high points.Try not to flame and have fun.
