Had a play with it last night, and looks like we have some great new features in store for the new Alpha. Numerous small changes, the new ship info screen is gorgeous, in the same style now as the main menu. But my vote for the number one change in this version: Factions. Zoom out a bit on the map and it changes to display the faction systems along with their homeworlds/HQs highlighted. Really gives you a feeling you have places to travel to. Awesome work by all involved in all changes this month with an especial big thumbs up to those who worked on the faction system.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention the personalize your character screen! That was a nice surprise.
