So, which system are you going to start in?

Star Citizen is not just an Multiplayer game, it will also contain a single-player game (Squadron 42) which will put you into the persistant server for multiplayer when it is completed. Star Citizen is a game being worked on by Roberts Space Industries. This EPIC game will be released in 2014.

So, which system are you going to start in?

Post by Elanoides »

Until we know exactly which system we can choose from, I'll just say which system I'd choose among all the systems that they released info about...Since I don't intend to play as a pirate, I'll probably place my hangar on Terra, it seems a good spot to start on if you intend to play as a trader Ofcouse, another system I might choose is the exclusive system for early backers that was unlocked recently, if it seems a good enough place.

Probably the same somewhere, where you are not going to get attacked straight away. I read on some gaming sites that the game has been pushed back until a Q1 2015 release any one know if that has been confirmed by RSI.

I haven't read anything official, but atleast on the SC wiki page they say the releasedate is early 2015: http://starcitizen.wikia.com/wiki/Anticipated_release_schedule Edit:After some research I found a mention of a releasedate in early 2015 on a Reddit CR did 4 months ago,  However, I don't know who said it, it waswn't CR, but neither did he correct it, so I asume it is a valid date

I guess I would have to wait and see all of the systems that will be available to me to choose from, I was thinking about the bountry hunter/explorer route for me personally so many a system not close to the high traffic areas.

I'd like something fairly safe but not too safe, and fairly close to the frontiers. Why? Because I intend to explore and pew pew some unfriendly enemies.

I think I'm gonna go with something like Robske, a safe system right on the frontier so that I can jump into action fast and also be able to fly safely during missions and such.

Anyway, here's a video camparing the games:
