Joystick support?

I asked this over at RPGwatch but figured it can't hurt to try here as well. I'm really enjoying The Precursors so far, and I just got access to my ship. But I'm wondering if it's possible to control it with my joystick rather than keyboard and mouse. I have a Saitek Cyborg Evo stick but the game doesn't seem to recognize it. Is it possible to set it up somehow? If not, is there a recommended way to program the stick to emulate the mouse / keyboard controls? Thanks!

Short answer.......No idea but have a look in the config file IIRC.
