I watched this movie last night and didn't expect much going into it and I was presently surprised that it was actually pretty good and worth a watch. This is definitely a scifi movie and that will unfold as you watch it. Pretty good movie and if you have kids they should like it since all the main characters are basically kids.

Isn't that the trend nowadays where all the main characters are either teeneagers or just barely into their twenties?

 Isn't that the trend nowadays where all the main characters are either teeneagers or just barely into their twenties? This is actually what bothered me, with the rebooted Star Trek. They gave a Cruiser Command to an ensign, fresly out of the Academy. It doesn't make sense.

Plus the younger actors are usually cheaper. This movie kind of reminded me of Hunger Games just for the fact that it was kids/young adults against the evil adults  There is also some actors that don't get the hint that its time to hang it up as well. yeah they were a star 20yrs ago but no so much any more.
