Will everyone be playing Star Citizen primarily when it launches?
I've been following SC updates for a while now, and it seems like they want to be pretty much everything -- space sim, FPS, detailed planetary cities, space racing, big space battles, single player, multi player, etc... If they eventually get around to officially launching the final product, will all of you be playing SC primarily? I mean, it seems like they pretty much covered everything? What will be the point of playing any other space sim, especially when SC will eventually be free to play? I'm curious about whether it will be worth it for game developers to invest tremendous resources to compete in the space sim niche...

Without the option of playing in chase cam, star citizen is not for me. I don't know how the situation is concerning Online vs Offline but that is something else that could put me off the game..

As far as I understand it, Star Citizen is an online MMO game so I doubt I will be playing it and given that the game has so many parts I think some the game elements will be better than others. As for other developers making this type of game it will depend on how successful SC is after all a lot of big game developers have pump a lot money into the fantasy genre trying to knock WOW of it perch.
