Buildings disappeared!

Hello everyone!
I began the game from New Hope, where my eyes saw a big city under my ship. But when I landed Pioneer crashed and I can't find how the buildings could be repaired. Help, please!

@biscaylateen @bubblyeducate This still happens? (I note OP is 2 years ago) Is it reproducible? I don't think this bug is known to us on the tracker.
The absolute best thing for us is to get a backtrace.
