My kids saw this and they liked it, its about 3.15hr long :) My son said its not as good as the first movie but its on par with the 2nd movie. Not sure if I will watch this in the theater yet, little busy right now. I hope they spend some time flushing out the new tribes, so you care about the story.

I saw this and did enjoy it more than I thought. I was very entertained but it felt more like Way of the Water Part 2 than a new Avatar 3. It was long. I never got bored but I wish they had found a way to trim 20 minutes somehow.

Mild spoiler below:

It was a lot like a scifi book from the 1970s... you know the type where a man a lot like the author goes to an alien planet and it's weird and cool but also he does drugs and sleeps with the alien dolphin princess and also you're like "is this CIA or Soviet propaganda, I can't tell"? That doesn't happen in this film but it has that vibe!

Did they do a decent job covering the new tribe (backstory, flushing out important characters)?

Do they give an idea on what maybe the next movie will be about?
