Hail from Indonesia, but currently working in the States. Always been a fan of space games since the Wing Commander days.Was hoping to find newer space sim games (mercenary/trader/pirates/freelance/etc) that are singleplayer (so I can wreak havoc or restore order whatever I please) and have great graphics but wont be unnecessary complex (like X series). Any suggestion? I played Freelancer to death and I think it is time to move to a newer games since the graphic on that one is getting dated (even with the patch, still is a great games). Games like Darkstar One (Why isnt there a forum for that game here?) does actually have great graphic (although lousy voiceacting) but I miss the feeling of making money and buying/upgrading new ships (Darkstar one allows you to modify your one and only plane, no buying). Any suggestions? I tried a couple of games a few years ago (dont even remember what its called) but its totally crap, and I wanted to try Evochron but I'm not sure about the graphic/gameplay and that the demo crashed on me whenever I want to start the game. Welcome to SSC PeankWing Commander games are just great and I love them all.

I used to have a forum for it and it went 6+ months without a single new post so I just removed it and moved all posts into the general space gaming area. If I get enough requests for it i will gladly remake it. There is a download section for the game still.I will talk about recommendations for games in your other thread. Feel free to talk about or review any games you play.
