Post by Deorsa »

Hey everyone, always been mad about space and espicially the simulation games, was a huge star wars fan and b5 fan. have recently been playing fe2 and was gobsmacked to find out about FFE and then nearly made a mess of my pants when i saw the FFED3D, so hey, I want to be in this club! Please recommend any other cames of FFE standard or style for me to play but please bear in mind that internet connection out here is unreliable and non existant in winter. (COLD AND BORED YAY!)Oh btw, Deorsa, 24 on the 11/06/86 and its a pleasure to meet ya'll!P.S nothing tooooo nerdy... makes me cringe a lil...

Welcome to SSC DeorsaMake sure you play FS2 with the FSO (FreeSpace Open project) installed. You will see better graphics and more available mods for the game. You can also look at the Pioneer project which is also a Frontier based game and you also have Oolite as well all free projects. So enjoy your stay and see ya in the forums.

Hi there, welcome to the SSC :) There is loads of games out there, just check out the posts and if Darkone does not mind me mentioning this, there is also the Frontier forum, the home of the Elite games. That too is packed with info and links to loads of other interesting sites. Here is a link http://forums.frontier.co.uk/index.php Getting the Open Freespace mod might be difficult if your internet connection is as bad as mine. It took me days of downloading to get all the required files, not to mention the actual download of Freespace 2 itself from GOG. Here is a link http://www.gog.com/en/frontpage/ fun!
