hi fellow space fans, glad to see the space sim scene isnt dead and great to see someone else trying to pull off a great frontier conversion. i have a great interest in this game and theres another that has been in development for a few years also called infinity. Hopefully we will all be able to fulfill our space dreams when these two fabulous games get to the final stages.Regards

Hey DoomdarkWelcome to SSC and I think everyone is waiting on Infinity to get into beta Sometimes I think there should be two version though, a SP and a MMO version. People say space games are a dead genre but I don't think so any more. With all of the projects that members and I have found over the years/months the genre seems very much alive, it just needs more focused interest in the genre and bringing the community together.See ya in the forums.

the x series was good but no one has gone as far as pioneer and infinity are going with their planetary exploration and landing, all they have to do then is let players make their own colnies and mining installations with automated or player defences and the near perfect game will have been made .

Don't forget about the Evochron games there Doomdark, they have some great features and the planet surfaces look great especially in the upcoming Mercenary game.
