Galaxy Heist
RE: Galaxy Heist
And the Kickstarter is a go £65 grand goal more details on Kickstarter.
RE: Galaxy Heist
Just added this kickstarter to the mainpage. The video shows off a lot and the game has come a longs ways and does have a very reasonable goal so attaining it is very possible. A lot of folks should be interested in this type of title because of the whole bording/on ship combat. Don't see much of that in games much. Good luck!
RE: Galaxy Heist
Been greenlighted in less than a day. Great news everyone! Galaxy Heist was greenlit on steam in a day. This day right now to be exact. I had always thought getting on steam greenlight was going to be a task in itself that I would worry about after kickstarter but it ended up not being a task at all. I only got to tweet about it a couple times before it got approved. If I had known I would've really savoured those tweets. Thank you very much to everyone who voted for us, we're one step closer to putting the game in people's hands. Hope they have PayPal option at some point.
RE: Galaxy Heist
Galaxy Heist still has 18 days to go but they could do with doing a lot more updates.
RE: Galaxy Heist
From Kickstarter updates, they still have 15 days to go but it's a big mountain to climb. Hey everyone! Thought I would give an update just to say hi and let you know whats going on behind the scenes with the game and our current KS campaign. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, we just didn't get the traffic needed in the first few days to take a sizable chunk out of that 65k, even with good conversion rates for the people that did go to our kickstarter page. So it goes without saying, we're not in a good position for finishing the KS campaign like we had originally planned.Having said that, whether the game gets funded on this go around or not, backers will still receive something for their support. Exactly what that will be I can't say yet as I'm still looking at our options and seeing how things go but I can say that I will keep pushing for this game to get made no matter what happens over the next few weeks. I plan on doing another update after E3 once the direction of Galaxy Heist is a bit clearer and I can share our plan for the future. With Steam Greenlight, the new xbox version of greenlight(xbox preview?), publishers, angel investors, and other people making offers on the game, Galaxy Heists future is looking bright even sans a miracle kickstarter upswing. So right now the plan is to explore some of our options and come up with a solid game plan over the next week. Even though the campaign isn't going as planned there are still lots of things to be excited for in the Galaxy Heist galaxy. Thanks for sticking with us! A lot more updates were needed as updates are the main communication channel you have with your backer it also allows people to see whats going on and to post updates around the internet and that way you should get more attention.
RE: Galaxy Heist
Nice video from the team shown off the galaxy map and the interior of the ship.
RE: Galaxy Heist
Another short video. They seem to be redoing their website at the moment as it has a count down clock on?, just wonder if they are getting ready for a Steam launch.

So soft that you'll need to apply to get it, as it'll start as a closed demo while I work out the many bugs and things that still need to be added before I feel comfortable giving the demo to everyone.
I do plan on making more short videos like that though as they're more fun then just well timed screenshots.
RE: Galaxy Heist
Nice one SpaceBearDev :good: game looking good.
RE: Galaxy Heist
The explosions look great so far. That's a pretty big explosion would this generally cause any damage to the ship since you only had a few yards between them?
RE: Galaxy Heist
Galaxy Heist now has it's website back up http://www.galaxyheistgame.com/ and you can apply for free testing of the Alpha or for a donation of £9 will get you the game after the alpha has finished ect. See the website for details.
RE: Galaxy Heist
Nuke em till they glow then shoot em in the dark.
RE: Galaxy Heist
Not too bad, in that room with the four lights when he turned the night vision off it was actually pretty hard to see anything... overall though the ship/station combat is getting better.
RE: Galaxy Heist
Another short video about menus.
RE: Galaxy Heist
Another short vid about holograms.
RE: Galaxy Heist
Video popped up a couple of days ago and they seems to be putting some major work into the game.
RE: Galaxy Heist
Can't find any new information on this game anywhere, it looks to be dead.... shame it looked promising.
