Had a power outage today... but when I tried to get everything back online I found out the domain expired so I got that re-registered, so all set for another 2yrs

Two separate problems on the same day is rough. A renewal reminder well ahead of the expiry date seems worth keeping separately from the server checklist, since restoring power alone would not get the domain back.

I think I didn't get the domain expire notice because I switched my email account and forgot to update godaddy, so that was my fault. It shouldn't happen again. The power outage is out of my control, I am always contactable via my email spacesimcentral at gmail dot com if the site ever is down and it doesn't come online within a respectful time... in the winter sometimes we loose power but its rarely more than 24 hours. In like 40 yrs leaving here only had power out for 2+ days 3x and that was because of major storm.
