To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Nice update.
- Liking the reverse scroll in/out - matches my other games now so feels right to me.
interface bug ;
- Clicking the rocket in the resources menu brings up the Colonists Menu
gfx bug ;
- The Hydroponics model seems to have a corrupt skin on the bottom right corner
a few things I've noticed;
- Colonists seem to be capped at 50, is this by design ? - perhaps I'm missing a construction type to retain my colonists, all resources are high, no negative resource.
- Small Power Storage seems quite high on Ore cost, at the time I needed it my ore was capped at 300, yet it's cost was 714.
- Is the Small Generic Storage a little overpowered, a couple of those and I seem to be accelerated past all the other Small and Medium storage containers.
- Is there a point to the Small Ore storage, it costs $3100 to store 83 ore yet the Mining Outpost costs $1650 and generates ore + 83 ore storage - seem the better deal even though it takes an additional 2 colonists to run.
suggestions;
- when clicking the resources menu panel, each resource provides a summary of constructions, I think it would be useful to see In and Out for all resources all in one panel, and then perhaps the drill down to each construction could be an extra option. Attached a file to mock that idea up for you (Ignore the numbers, didn't get time to photoshop accurate data)
Nice spot on the 50 colonists limit, its all to do with supporting your colonists, making sure they are happy etc, so it is by design but its lower than I thought, will take a look and tweak it a bit more.
they hydroponics have always been like that, I was intending to fix that but wont happen until I get my main development PC up and running
rocket menu is now fixed got 0.1.5a, it was sending you to the wrong menu when it doesn't have its own menu
the different storage units have different costs and upkeep costs, the specialised ones store more for their upkeep cost, though I think the prices may need lowering and storage altering to balance them a bit more.
The extra info for the resource in/out looks like useful info, will look into adding it somewhere, if not where you suggested,
Fixed the 50 population cap, may need tweaking but it was a error in the code, will post a new version very soon for these as that last one is a fairly big problem
Good news, I have found and fixed some issues with the repair ships, I still haven't found why they would go walk about and not go and repair anything though.
To this end the next version I hope to have a debug information to show what it is targeting.
