To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

ALL the stars are WHITE. Hyperspace clouds are white, all LASERS are WHITE!! All explosions are white. Stars on starmap are red, and then turn white as im scrolling up,down,left or right. All blips on radar are white. Ships thrusters are white. This game is being racist, why? lol
I have updated directx to latest version
Installed latest graphics card drivers (Nvidia Geforce 7100 Nforce 630i) GPU core 600mhz clock 666mhz (double what my last computer had which ran game perfectly)
RAM @ 800mhz Dual channel 4GB
CPU 2GHZ - 800mhz FSB
Windows Vista (.......)
FPS is whicked bad and keyboard is unresponsive WHEN the game starts up, for about 15 seconds loading the starting point world at hope.. If i hit 1-3 and start on a different planet with different ship, FPS and keyboard are fine. The COLOR thing is what is bothering me
I have tried compatibility mode with XP, but no luck!
