To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

I'm proud to present my in-development game for the first time on SSC: "Singular Objective: Don't Die"
The game places players in control of a small scout ship stuck in orbit around a black hole. There's no story, no cutscenes. Just a fight to see how long you can survive endless waves of hostile alien spacecraft while dodging asteroids and avoiding the singularity. How long will you make it as the spawn pool steadily increases and more deadly enemies are introduced?

Please rate your experience with the game on my Steam Greenlight Concept page:

New features in this version include:
- Level of detail system to enhance performance
- Nearest enemy directional indicator
- Up/Down strafe with "R"/"F" keys respectively
A little bit about the game - This is the first "complete" game I've ever made. I made it using the Blender Game Engine with most assets - including most textures - made with Blender.
Please feel free to share this with friends, and leave feedback or suggestions here. I take all feedback very seriously, most of the new features in this version were suggested by people who played and weren't happy with one aspect of the game or another.
This game will be free forever, even if I put it up on steam when it is finished. It's a pretty simple game, so I don't think it would be right to charge for it. There will also not be any pay DLC, pay updates, or microtransactions if I add to the game.
Have Fun!
Nice :good: will take later today.
