To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

So Mad Max Fury Road is coming out soon and I haven't even seen the first movie yet. I'm not really a fan of old movies, but the new one looks to be awesome so I wanted to ask if you think I should give the old one a try. Is it any good?
The original films have something of a cult following. I'd say you should give them a go as I think they're great. Mad Max 2 was probably the best one but you should really watch them all. Violent car chase scenes with surprisinlgy realistic stunt work.
They really nailed a scenario which not many films went for. Post oil Australia resulting in the dregs of humanity fighting over the last few scraps of fuel.
