To all SSC Station occupants

Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.

Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Supermoon eclipse tonight

Just a wee reminder for those of you who may have missed it.  There's a "Supermoon Eclipse" tonight after 1am GMT (peaks sometime after 3am if memory serves me correctly) - the first in 33 years.

It's visible from most of the western Hemisphere (clear skies permitting) and the moon should turn red at the point of the full eclipse.

Note that a whole load of conspiracy nuts are predicting the end of the world with it - but I'll probably see you all around in a few days.

Are you sure about that and we're not all living in the afterlife - or the matrix...?

Should I have the red pill or the blue pill?  What do you mean that there is no pill...?
