To all SSC Station occupants

Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.

Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Thought I would share this article since it is a nice read on where AMD is going with the product line. I have been a huge supporter of AMD for over 10+ years now and only buy there chips and have to admit my AMD Phenom II Black Quad processor has been flawless the past 2 years.

I am very interested in the CPU and Gfx benchmarking with games to see how they respond.

I thought that this had already been and gone..?

A year or 2 ago both Intel and AMD were going on about this its a nice idea, but if I remember correctly, they were very poor in the end.

A friend of mine has a motherboard made for the intel version of this (Cpu + Gpu in one), which is now all but discontinued. Who knows though, maybe they will have another crack at it.

These chips have yet to be released as far as I know, scheduled to be released in Q2 2011.
