To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

For years I am looking for RPG in which you can explore space, meet alien civilization (samething like in film star trek).
You have crew and ship under your command.
Is there anything like that?
There are elements of that in Mass Effect and I like it very much. Are there any other option?

Lots of older games let you pick a crew and go boldly forth into space and onto the planets surface the only one new one I can think of, would be Starpoint Gemini but there is no planet landing in it.
Theres also the remake of starflight but they have taken out the crew stats that you used to be able to fiddle with in the old game.
Just remembered their Nothstar as well.
