To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

No info on what platform, just some thing about all.
Might be some sort guide rather than game.
Here’s the announcement.
“We’re super excited to be involved with such a legendary creation as The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. The quirky and hilarious universe that Douglas Adams created became an instant classic for so many. All the hoopiest froods here at Hothead jumped on the chance to work on the projectâ€Â, commented excitable Hothead human, Joel DeYoung. Zarniwoop Vann Harl, president of Megadodo, was unavailable for comment as he is far too cool to add quotes to press releases.

Who remember's this?
I was meant to interview Douglas Adams about the Hitchhiker's game that was being developed back in 2001, but the day before our meeting he sadly expired. I was sent to chat with the devs anyway, but it was a rather morbid set of interviews that came out. The game was canned a few weeks later.
Don’t remember hearing about any remake of the game, were they thinking about doing some thing similar Starship Titanic or was it to be more action based. ❓
It was to be a third-person action adventure. All I saw of it was a cartoonish Arthur Dent in his trademark dressing gown, able to flick a towel at enemies to keep them at bay.
Shame they never went on with it, would have been interesting to see what they came up with.
