To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

WOW!!! I'd really love to have an O'Neil Cylinder, with all the panels that reflects the light to the inside. :biggrin:
How about some very huge generation ship? Maybe a variant of the O'Neil Cylinder design (Rama?). It would be very cool to find some mega ship, sometimes (better as a rarity).
OT: @fluffyfreak: does your Vavatch orbital works with recent builds?

That's on my todo list but needs rewriting from the ground up. So much has changed since then that I'd rewrite it from scratch rather than try and update that code.
Really there are better ways of implementing it too, I was hacking around quite a lot trying to learn what I needed to in order to get it working.
Wow, that was 2 years ago I last committed to that branch actually 🙂
However I agree it would be cool to have them in the game somewhere.
