To all SSC Station occupants

Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.

Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Pioneer Crashing

When I try and start up Pioneer the cursor doesn't show up, however I can still select options and when I start the game it crashes shortly after showing the starting position. Additionally, after crashing my computer runs very slowly as the game was absorbing most of it's resources.

Anybody have any potential fixes for my problem? I've attached the output.txt incase it helps at all. [attachment=2940:output.txt]

You seem to be using a quite old build (from may). Have you tried the latest one?

libpng warning: iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile

libpng warning: iCCP: cHRM chunk does not match sRGB

Those warnings remind me of an old crash we used to get on some peoples machines, as nozmajner says you're best off trying a newer version.

I currently am using a newer version and that crash is gone, but there is a new one. Something about C++ I'll go crash the game again to get a better glimpse at it.

I made a fresh install and booted it up only to crash after playing for a few minutes, the output.txt file has some new text so I'll put it up.
