To all SSC Station occupants

Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.

Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Planetary System Info

I thought I might start filling in these for various systems, both in depth information (such as the gazeteer from FE2) and a brief version for the in-game system information.

for the latter, where is this information coded? Is it something I can insert? Or is it best to make new pages in my wiki f or each system and if they get the seal of approval can then move over into the code?

Cheers

John

System information is in data/systems. They're defined in Lua. All systems from (-4,-4,-4) to (4,4,4) are real stars in their correct positions. Many star systems further out are also real stars, in their correct positions.

It's probably easier to do any design work in your wiki for now, but do feel free to take a peek inside the files.

depth information is good for any potential changes down the track making use of these data sets
