To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

For anyone interested here is a video:
who wouldn't like that?
i feel a little ashame for my selfmade spaceship desk i made once in thew age of 9? (i don't remember that properly, would have been then around '75).
No, No! but certainly would had appreciated more help from my daddy, he would have had the capability, no question,
but things that make no sense or had no practical use was something he didn't understood, not even as a toy.
though i had to design it myself, i drawed most on a cardboard and added a few "jellybeans" (lights), some switches and some analogue displays i could inherit from my dad.
(he had already a problem that i abused dowels as rockets/missiles, later a friend of mine and me we started to build a moonbase and we needed a lot of missiles, electrolytic capacitors make nice tanks and... ok, this i leave out :secret: )
have you thought about the problem of accidential switching under the condition of 0 gravity? 😉
brillant job!
Wow.
My old mad never did anything even remotely like this for me. 🙁
I made my own out of cardboard, but never lasted.
