To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Can someone give me a tip or something, would be very happy.
Sorry i used the google Translator
You need to buy Hydrogen (if you have a standard drive) or Military Fuel (if you have a Military drive). These can be bought from just about any spaceport.
You can, if you have a fuel scoop, scoop hydrogen from gas giants. Its tricky though and in the current version there is a problem with gas giant atmospheres (they are super squashed so its practically impossible to actually get). Some are ok. You just need to get really low, on some as low as a couple of hundred meters off the ground, and then fly at a couple of kms/second and you will gather hydrogen quite quickly. Just be careful about crashing into the ground.
Hopefully the devs will get this issue solved soon (there is an issue open relating to it) and we can have fun using gas giants as refueling points again.
By the way, don't confuse this with your interplanetary fuel (which your fuel meter shows) which is actually water. Again, you get refuelling and can buy water at starports. Alternately, if you have a cargo scoop and a mining laser you can mine water from asteroids. Note, version 28 requires you to be very exact scooping the cargo (amost impossible i found). The currently nightly builds and the next Alpha (when its released) allow cargo scooping just by colliding with the cargo, making this much much easier.
