To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Hey guys
Just watched today the final episode of the mini-series called Forward Unto Dawn and I have to say I absolutely loved it. I figured it would be cool to share it with you guys cause I searched for it on this forum and found no mention of it, so enjoy <img src=' http://spacesimcentral.com/forum/public/style_emoticons//icon_e_smile.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
Just watched a bit - but very impressed.
Clearly slightly lower budget but honestly so far the camera work has been top notch, special affects are absolutely brilliant and the dailogue is witty with not a drop of sentimentality.
So far all the actors have been about 17 which is a bit striking at first but quickly forgeting it with the brilliant footage. Whoever did this looks like they're young talented and got a great future.
Actually mate this is made by Microsoft and has a budget of like 10 million $.
The actors are so young because they are recruits, training to become soldiers so they can go on the battlefield and help win the war.
This movie is particularly interesting especially if you're a Halo fan and know some of its story. I especially liked the part where the recruits didn't even knew about the existence of Spartans and were amazed at how they looked and fought.
