To all SSC Station occupants

Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.

Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

And after Christian Bale, another new actor to embody John Connor  ??

I always thought they would have done better to stop after number 2

I think bringing back Christian Bale would have been a good move to tie all the movies together at least.

That trailer look like a compilation of all the best bit from the previous films which may mean they have run out of ideas and are just recycling them in this new film.

Saw this in the cinema the other night.

It's not as good as the first 2 movies, but it's miles better than 3 and Salvation.

Watched this last night on DVD and I have to say it's pretty good and much better than I thought it was going to be and it was fun to see some twists on familiar scene from the first film.

But he's still being back once too often.

Saw this the other day as well and I have to say it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and you got to see a glimpse of all the variants of terminator models in this one. They did throw a nice twist in there for those that have seen the movies. I like how they integrated Arnold's age into the look of the Terminator 🙂 I won't talk any further about it so I won't spoil anything for anyone. But this was a solid movie and even though they did leave an opening for a sequel I think they should stop here.

From what I read it looks like this is the final film although it made money it failed in the US market which seems to have put them off doing any more for the time being.

Arnie may be back again this time in a direct sequel to Conan the Barbadian.
