To all SSC Station occupants

Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.

Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

So what do you think of this one...? Do you think they can bring this series back to life again.

He did a good job with the "Batman" movies, so he may pull it off. May is going to be an exciting month.

Christian Bale has done well with Batman but I think they should have given this role to someone else personally. But I hope he does well with it, I just wanted to see a new face in that role since they were starting anew.

He is good at Batman will he be ok in another epic role? I know I have seen some movies of Christian Bale outside of Batman and they were not that good. John Conner is supposed to be a strong willed individual so if they can portray that it should come over nicely.

Well finally was able to see this and it wasn't that bad actually. Special effects were ok and brought a smile to my face when I saw that CGI Arnold Terminator appear.... (oops spoiler). I personally would have like to see more apocalyptic fighting with the terminators.

I loved this movie, and after I saw it I was absolutely sure everyone would love it. Was surprised to hear a lot of criticisms from friends, most of which came off to me like nit-picking and made me wonder if a Terminator film will ever garner universal approval like the first 2 did. I think part I & II were so good that it makes it almost impossible for a subsequent film to live up.

Salvation had basically everything I wanted to see in a Terminator sequel. Couldn't believe how they brought back a 30 year old Arnold!
