To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Just looked at the Lunar Lander thread put me in mind of that great 8 bit game Thrust.
Best 1.99 I every spent on a game.
I don't remember this game but I wish I had played it cause it looks interesting. The type of game to play when you're bored.
I never played this as well and it looks like it could have been a nice time waster.
This reminds me of a similar game on the miggy, I think it might have been called Gravity Force, but I am not sure.
Um.. lets see....Yes I was right! Here is a link to the Gravity Force 2 web page which also includes links to a PC remake 😉 http://www.lysator.liu.se/~jensa/gf2/
It was a mid eighties budget release on just about every 8 bit micro there was at the time.

Not heard of Gravity Force.
Thrust was a magical game. I played it for hours on the ol' ZX.
Oids was my favourite 16-bit successor, while Gravitron 360 is a very good contemporary tribute I'd heartily recommend. Bob Came in Pieces is an interesting divergence as well.

Looking through some of the reviews on Amiga rack the other day and came across another Thrust clone called Fly Harder.
According to the comments on Lemon Amiga it’s a hard game.
Will have to dig out the adf CD and have a look..
