To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Been watching this for a while as it came out on the 3DS last year and has now made it over to the PC, (check on Steam for it), they have it down as a cross between XCom and Worms but I think it plays closer to Worms than the XCom games.
This looks like a nice time waster, with the different robots, weapons and level layouts. Nice simple strategy game, looks really good visually to me.
The robots in the game remind me of the ABC Warriors from long ago..
It's a good time waster as I have spent most of my free time with over the last week playing it, also I picked up the DLC for it which adds a another character, weapons and story to the main game although I would recommend getting the DLC with the game so you have it all at the start instead of adding it half way through as I have done.
ABC warriors have just finished a run in the comic a few weeks ago and a turn based game featuring them would be a perfect fit for them. It's a shame that Rebellion the game developer who now own 2000AD have not done more with the comics various characters.
Ive been meaning to pick this one up. I really liked Steamworld Dig, which is a metroidigdug and was pretty darn fun. Also you had me at cowboy robots.
