To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

My name is Thoth Amon, currently joint CEO of LoG (The League of Gentlemen) the premier manufacturing faction in Nyridia. We are situated in the north west of the galaxy and supply top end hulls, jump drives and equipment. Our faction is one among many with the 2D Sandbox space mmorpg Outer Empires. Mine, explore, fight, research and manufacture, build ships, weapons or become a pirate, with 20,000 planetary systems there is no limits.
Currently being resurrected after a server shutdown and slow rerelease, the game plays on Windows, Mac, iOS (ipad) and Android (tablets) via browser. On iOS the game is best played using the Puffin browser (an app will be released in due course). On Android the game can be played using native Chrome (7 inch tablets need to load in portrait and swivel to landscape as there are screen resolution problems at the minute).
