To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

My name is Nahdir
I am a fan of various games but especially sci-fi. This love started and is still inspired by Independance War 2: Edge of Chaos and Imperium Galactica 2.
I have been searching far and vide for interesting space games that would satisfy me as much as the aforementioned titles have but have been struggling.
I have now come across this website and I think it might just be what I needed - a place to share this passion for sci-fi with others.
I am also learning to be a games developer in uni and alhough I have no seriuos games under my belt yet, one day I hope to make 'the best' space sim out there.
Thats me in a nutshell. Other games I enjoy are zombie and shooter games. Also a fan of adventure. I prefer them with a good story, characters and graphics but then who doesnt <img src=' http://spacesimcentral.com/forum/public/style_emoticons//icon_e_smile.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Independence War series is a great set of games and would love to see a sequel someday... but enjoy and there is plenty of passion for the games here and a few indie developers to boot.

Thanks and it only gets better with more eyes scouring the net for the latest news and reporting it. The site will be a work in progress but I will get it there.
