To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Hello to everyone,
It's been pretty great to troll about the site and get excited all over again for space sim games! I'm looking forward to browsing about some more on the site and catching back up with the genre.
While i'm at it, has anyone else been to http://conceptships.blogspot.com/ ? Absolutely amazing art, although it can take a bit to load each page, and the site does a good job of promoting artists, many of whom design for the gaming industry.

That is some set of stunning images on that site link you posted. They take me back to the grand cover illustrations of SF books in the 1970s. Lovely work! 🙂

There is a lot of new project in the works and of course a lot of older games talked about and there is the games list as well. I try to keep the site updated and there is still a lot more work but we'll get there eventually.
That is a great site, I will make sure it is in the link list on my next update.
