To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Wanted to say hi. I have visited this site daily for years to stay abreast of everything Spacesim. 34 y/o Tampa FL here. Currently playing. Drox Operative, Smugglers V, EVE, Independence War, Freelancer various mods, GW2, Early backer of Star Citizen....deciding on ED.
Welcome to SSC Nitefawkes, glad you finally docked at the station. I too already pre-ordered Star Citizen and I have yet to buy Elite: Dangerous just because I think they are releasing too soon and I will wait a while to get. I will probably pickup X:Rebirth once 3.0 comes out. It's an exciting time to be a space gamer and after years of building a community to try to resurrect the space sim it makes me happy as hell to see these games coming back with a vengeance. Now I find it hard to play all the games, never had that problem before 🙂

Sadly I may be looking for a refund with Elite Dangerous but the good news is there's plenty of other games :biggrin:
