To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Hey guys, my name is Ruben. I'm starting a space RTS game. Been working on it for some time now, got lots of documentations, code etc. Any devs out there with advice for a first timer?
Welcome to the forums Rubensaccnt.
Don't know if you will get any answers to your question but if you want to start a thread about the game go ahead.
Hi Rubensaccnt
Yeah you might want to make a post here: http://spacesimcentral.com/ssc/forum/27-general-coding-and-mod-discussion/
And maybe not make it as broad of a statement, if you focus your question more you might get some feedback.
When you have some details to share about your game please do post it. But from a non developer standpoint I would say getting feedback on your game in concept and features would probably be best. Just because you want to see what gamers are looking for especially if you are trying to sell your game.

Hi. I'm another newbie around here who is also a dev. It looks like the show off section may be a good place too if you have something specific to show and would like some gamer feedback. I'll be posting about what we are working on there when I have a few min to put something together that doesn't sound like a generic copy/paste from elsewhere 🙂
