To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

There isn't much information on the content of next weeks free content update to NMS but here is what was said:
We’ve been listening intently, and are hard at work on fixes and improvements. We wanted to share a little news from behind the scenes.
Whilst most of the team have been busy on weekly updates, a handful have been working on something else, our first titled update since NEXT.
A new free update is releasing next week for all players. We’ve called it The Abyss, because it focuses on some of the eerier elements of No Man’s Sky, in keeping with the theme of this season.
So I guess we will find out what is in this surprise update next week 🙂

After watching it I am pretty impressed with Hello Games, this underwater element is almost like its own separate game personally. I mean they have other games on Steam that do what this free addon does. So NMS seems like it is noww approaching its vision of a game that they were envisioning. Guess soon I will have to buy this after almost 3 yrs 🙂
