To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Is there any space sims that let you actually get out of your ship and explore alien planets or confront aliens?

Off the top of my head I can only think of a few:
Salvation Prophecy
The Precursors
Parkan II
Blackstar (MMO)
All are WIP (Work in Progress) but Parkan II. I might be missing some more but maybe someone else can chime in.
I would add Space Ranger II,Universal combat and the remake of starflight/sundog check the thread
or the links page. The still being made Northstar is another one,very old 2d rps game like Megatraveller
1 & 2,Hardnova,sentinel Worlds and Space Rogues.you will need to do a bit of Googleing to find the games
and use dosbox to play them.
