To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

This isn't going to be easy... I'm trying to find a game just based on what I remember the box art and the fact that it was a space sim/space trading game. I know it's not much to go on, but what I can remember of the artwork is that it was mostly black and white and in a minamalist style. There was a ship on the box with maybe some Asian text (not too sure about the text). The background behind that was mostly plain white. I don't know the release date, but I saw this about 10 years ago.
I've looked online at many boxes in theis genre and have come up empty, so I'm thinking this could have been released on an obscure console, or it might be from Japan.
Is there a comprehensive database with all video games in this genre?
Thanks for any help.
Armada for Dreamcast?
Off hand the only one I can think of would be one of the Freespace or the Decent games which some time a minimalist white box art style.
The game data base is down here but you can try the one at SGJ http://www.spacegamejunkie.com/game-list-4/ or the Wikipedia one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_space_flight_simulator_games
Thanks for the reply CaptainKal...It was more like just one ship by itself on a white background. No space scene or anything in the background Not much color and might have actually been just black and white.
Thanks for sending that SGJ list PINBACK. I'm sure that will keep me up at night looking.
I keep think from your description that it may be one of the Wipeout game but they are futurist racing games not a ship game.
