To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Stuck in the house with nothing to do...... being a good citizen and social distancing yourself from everyone.
Well GOG has some games you can play to pass some time and some of these titles are some real classics, so give a few a try if you weren't gaming 20-30yrs ago 😉

Jill of the Jungle? Good grief!
Looks like other sites doing the same thing, itch.io is jumping on to this trend as well

Some classic in the GOG one, I bought Witcher 3 and Deux a while back but have yet to download them, I may have a go at downloading them but by the time I get them downloaded the crisis may be over.
If it's reading you're needing, plenty of free sci-fi at Baen Books. There's some good stuff in there, especially if you like military sci-fi. The Honor Harrington series is recommended, and the first novel in that series - On Basilisk Station - is in that list.
