To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

I've just downloaded the FFE D3D from the web-site. I extracted the files only to find there wasn't any of the videos of the characters when you go into the shipyard / bulletin board / stock market etc. I actually have the original disk of first encounters, I copied and pasted the folder "data" with all the video in the FFE D3D folder. When I go into the shipyard now for example the sound works (character talking) but the video doesn't , these are .AVI files. Does anybody know how I get both sound & videos working on this game?

Unfortunately FFE3D cannot display the videos yet, but there are rumours that the next version will address this problem. There is no news at present when this newer version will be released I am sad to say.
